We have just three words to say about The Makeup Show Orlando 2013 - WHAT A SHOW! This past weekend was truly two days of inspiration, education and community. The team had a blast talking to all of the visitors who stopped by the Mehron booth and demonstrating our recently launched products, which seem to be so hot right now. We actually sold out of the Celebre Pro HD Palettes and Skin Prep PRO on the first day of the show! The palette contains the 12 most popular shades of the top selling cream makeup foundation that industry professionals can't get enough of. And our Skin Prep PRO is also making a name for itself as THE way to increase the wearability of makeup even under high performance conditions. It was humbling to see that these products are making such waves.
It Wasn't Just All Products At The Makeup Show
But The Makeup Show is not just about products - it is also about learning some insider tips. And Mehron was happy to share! With high def cameras comes the need for high def makeup and techniques. We made sure attendees got the inside scope on this evolving trend. Professional makeup artist and Mehron model Sindy Perez hosted a seminar on Trade Secrets and Tools for HD Editorial / Video Makeup.
HD is not the only trend evolving. Body painting is currently making its way more and more into various media streams. So we had Jinny, co-creator of Mehron's Paradise Makeup AQ line, teach the seminar HD Body Paint Makeup For Editorial / Video. She demonstrated how to incorporate body painting techniques and concepts into more traditional outlets. Jinny didn't stop there. The Mehron Stage also served as a backdrop for even more of her amazing demonstrations.
