Cool never looked so hot! Mehron once again teamed up with fashion forward Venexiana for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The show, which took place this past Saturday, was full of bright, bold color. Designer Kati Stern's new spring/summer collection featured strong hues of blue, turquoise and gold. Mehron key artist Dani Fonseca took her color cue from the go-to fashion house for rock-and-roll haute couture and came up with an amazing makeup look for the runway. Learn how she, together with artists from the Academy of Freelance Makeup of London, brought the look to life.
1. Dani created a blank canvas by prepping the skin with Mehron's Celebre Pro-HD Makeup, an oil and fragrance free foundation that delivers smooth, buildable coverage.
2. She then contoured the face with our silky, non-caking E.Y.E Powder in Fawn.
3. Geranium CHEEK Cream was applied to the cheeks for a long lasting, effervescent pop of color.
4. Next came the dramatic eye - THE standout feature. Dani first applied Aquarmarine Celebre Precious Gem Powder and iNtense Pro Pressed Powder Pigment in Ocean Breeze to the inner corner of the eye and blended out. She then slightly contoured the eye with iNtense Pro Pressed Powder Pigment in Desert Sand and lined the eye with Ocean Breeze. Ruby Celebre Precious Gem Powder and Black E.Y.E. Liner Pencil were added to the bottom of the eye for some contrast.
5. A Venexiana runway show would not be complete without the lashes! Dani cut our Feather E.Y.E. Lashes into several pieces then applied them to the top of the eye. She then cut our Full E.Y.E. Lashes into several pieces and applied them to the bottom lash line. Talk about a wow factor!
6. And don't forget those luscious lips. Dani mixed our new long-wearing, moisturizing Glosstone Pro in Clear with Ruby Celebre Precious Gem Powder for a colorful glow.
7. To finish the look, the cheeks were highlighted with Opal Celebre Precious Gem Powder and a dusting of Celebre Pro-HD Loose Mineral Finishing Powder to set and combat shine under the intense runway lights.
